Basic white bread has used an all-purpose setting for most of the bread.

Wholemeal bread cycle provides a longer rising time for heavier bread containing that rye or whole wheat flour and other types of whole grain products.

The dough cycle mixes and kneads the dough. Mosttime will allow us to grow with time before the cycle is complete. After the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough for shaping, rising, and baking in the oven.

Raisin bread has an optional cycle that signals about 5 minutes before the end of the second kneading cycle. This signal indicates that raisins, dried fruits, nuts, candies or similar ingredients may be added. If for some reason your machine does not have this option, you simply add the raisins orother things about 15 minutes into the kneading cycle.

Sweet bread recipes affects are depending on how much sugar is in the recipe. The sugar affects its rising time and baking temperature. Some machines have a cycle for sweet bread and some don’t. If yours does have this cycle just follow the instructions that came with your machine. After following the instructions and you have gummy areas then bake your sweet bread on basic white cycle.

Rapid Cycles is exactly what the name implies, and this is faster. Some machines do not offer this cycle and others. The fast cycle time, saves up to mix, rise and bake bread. Follow the instructions in your machine to use for this cycle.

Always keep in mind a lighter setting may result in slighty gummy bread.

I've noticed that most recipes make a nice bread with a little less yeastdemanded in the recipe. I usually use 1 teaspoon for 1 pound loaf and 1-1/2 teaspoons for 2 pound loaf. The shape is beautiful and it seems better to rise.

Always use bread flour in recipes for bread, because it is the glue that is higher and have better form. If you do not have bread flour on hand then by all means used to regular flour.

Make sure you read to you over recipe to bake through thoroughly to ensure no errors.

It is important to measure correctly. Wrong proportions of ingredients can cause Recipedoomed to failure.

Here are some suggestions to avoid unnecessary problems:

Flour – Stir in the flour to make it lighter before measuring and use metal or plastic cups, which are intended for dry ingredients. Always spoon flour into the cup and the level of the head with a knife or metal spatula. Never ever dip into the measuring cup flour or shake after filling, because the most likely outcome of flour on the causes usually your dough is too dry.

Liquid Ingredients –Always use a glass or clear plastic measuring cup for liquid ingredients. Put your cup on a leval surface and bend down if necessary to bring it to eye level to make sure it’s exactly on the mark that it should be according to your recipe. Don’t lift it up to your eyes because it won’t be accurate. When using a measuring spoon, pour liquid to the top and don’t let it spill over. Never pour liquid into the measuring spoon over your pan incase some were to spill into the other ingredients. This could be too much liquid and throw you off your recipe.

Butter or margarine, if necessary – Use a Sharpe knife and cut on the premeasured marks when using sticks butter or margarine. For butter, not in sticks, soften it and measured as directed for shortening.

Shortening – Use a rubber spatula, press down on the shortening used in a measuring cup for dry ingredients or in a measuring spoon. You level him with a knife or metal spatula.

Sugar – For BrownSugar, press firmly until it made the shape of the cup when dumped. Granulated or white sugar should be spooned into measuring cup or spoon and level off with a knife or metal spatula.

Measure Sometimes, no matter how careful you are, a batter off, either too dry or too moist. This is usually due to the factors that some species and / or brands of flour absorb, are a little more or less liquid than others. To check wet or dry to overcome the consistency of the dough during the first 5Knead minutes to make sure that your ratio of dry and liquid ingredients is correct.

If your dough looks too dry or crumbly, or forms more than one ball add extra liquid, 1 teaspoon at a time, until a ball forms and smooth. If the dough too much moisture, add 1 teaspoon at a time of bread flour, until a ball forms and is smooth.

When adding ingredients to the machine, liquids, and dry yeast in that order. The reason is to keep the yeast away from the liquidKnead until the cycle begins. This is most likely what you want to call your machine, but be sure and check your machine instructions.
