Breadman Plus - AWESOME MACHINE!!!

My husband bought this bread machine for me several years ago for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE it!!! In fact I've used it so much that I finally wore out the motor and now I'm in the process of buying another one just like it. Mind you on an average I use my machine 3-5 times a week. A lot of times I'll make a loaf of bread when I get home from work. Throw in the ingredients, push the button and it's that easy. Within a couple of hours, fresh hot bread. On the weekends when I have a little more time, I make a lot of things from the dough cycle. We did our research and found this machine to be the best buy. I highly recommend this machine. Very easy to use, very user friendly. I've made everything from white bread, wheat bread, raisin bread and I even tried some of the off the wall breads. I use the dough cycle a lot and from that I've made pizza dough, English muffins (which my kids JUST love), pretzels, dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls the list goes on. Honestly, the stuff I've made taste just like store bought if not better. Ask my kids. You know how picky kids can be and if they keep asking you to make more, then you know it's got to be good. If you're buying your first bread machine and are confused on what kind of cookbooks to buy because there are so many to choose from, Donna Rathmell German has the best. She has about 6-7 bread machine cookbooks. I bought them all and have tried several different recipes from every book. There was not one recipe I did not like. Everything turned out great!!! These are good books to have if your just beginning. She helps you understand everything you need to know about how to make the perfect breads. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your machine.
Also Very Satisfied

In my circle of acquaintances, a bread machine is something that you buy - use it once - and then put it in a cupboard. So I wondered if a machine at this price point would be just another piece of junk waiting for next yard sale.

After 3 months - using this device every other day - I have to express my admiration for how well designed and practical it is.

I have particular admiration for how intuitive the time setup is for delayed baking - which is just about the only kind we do. Waking up to the smell of fresh bread baking has been a nice addition to our lives.

But it all comes down to the bread, and - so far - the TR875 has been a solid performer. I would buy another one of these in a heartbeat.
Fantastic!

Tastes Like Bakery Bread

Reviewer: M. Spalmacin,
I LOVE this machine!

I had a bread machine seveal years ago and it just didn't do a good job, so I was wary of bread machines in general and didn't expect this one to be much better.

Boy, was I wrong. It bakes bread that tastes like it was baked at a bakery, with a crispy crust and a soft fully-cooked inside. Our first test was plain white bread, just to break in the machine. It was great and tasted even better the next day when we put it in the toaster.

The dough setting is very good, too. We used it to make french bread (both finished in the machine and just dough that we put in the oven) and it tasted better than we could buy in a store. My husband loves it. I also made dark pumpernickel (called "black bread" in NYC) that was out of this world and tested just like the bakery bread in New York. We bought several varieties of flour from King Arthur and think their flour is better than store-bought flour when used in this machine.

The bottom line is this: I would not give up this machine and would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Fantastic bread machine, fantastic price

This is a really solid bread machine. It does a great job and the price cannot be beat - much better than the other bread machines in the price range and it isn't worth it to pay more to get comparable quality.
