The USA Pans Pullman Loaf Pan & Cover is constructed of aluminized steel, the material of choice for commercial bakeries. Loaf Pan measures 9 x 4 x 4 inch. The size and design of the Pullman pan makes it ideal for making squared bread loaves and brioche. The metal thickness of this pan has been selected to allow for even heat distribution and maximum service life. An important and unique feature of this pan is its corrugated design. Corrugation maximizes the pans strength and prevents warping, denting and other effects of everyday use. Plus, it also minimizes surface contact which translates into evenly baked products that are easily released. No need for messy and unhealthy oil and grease. This pan is coated with Americoat. Americoat is a proprietary silicone coating. It provides a clear, non-stick, environmentally friendly, non-toxic baking surface, specially formulated for superior baking. It's FDA approved; it does not contain PTFE's or PFOA's. It is not recommended to exceed baking temperature of 400 degrees F. Easy care. To clean, simply wipe clean after use; soap and water are okay to use. It is not recommended that pan be washed in dishwasher because harsh chemicals can cause the non-stick material to breakdown in time. Dry pan completely, after cleaning. Received my USA made Pullman pan and didn't waste any type breaking it in. Used my bread machine to do the hard work: one hour; put the dough in the pan, the cover on and baked for 30 min. Beautiful evenly browned crust on all four sides, and the quickest bake and clean up ever! I am very very pleased with the performance of this pan. Did not have to wash it afterwards -just a simple wipe with a paper towel. It released the loaf of bread that easily. The 9 x 4 x 4 size is excellent for two. USA Pans recycles and the price is excellent!

Got my USA pullman pans (13" and 10") and I'm very satisfied with the quality of the pans. I have not baked with the 10" pan (aka 9x4x4). I like the smooth coating and the heavy feel of the pan. The lid is of similar weight and quality. The pans arrived in good condition-no dings or scratches.

I made bread in the larger USA Pullman Pan and it came out really well. I think the smaller pan is a good size to make a loaf for a gift, or for one or two people who don't eat a lot of bread. I prefer the larger pan for day to day use.
